Ambit · conformance badges

Ambit Tested. Ambit Verified.

Two badges for implementations of Ambit. Each links to a public claim that names the exact version tested, what passed and who ran the tests. Neither is a certification.

Two tiers

The difference is who ran the tests.

CORE-028 in the specification ↗
Ambit tested

Self-tested

You run Action Effect Bench against your implementation and publish the report and a claim. Anyone can check it, because the Bench runs offline with no OSuite server or account.

  • Evaluator: you
  • Published by: you, with a listing here on request

Independently re-run

Ond re-runs the Bench version your claim names against the implementation identity you give, then publishes its own report next to yours. Independent of the implementer, but still a test statement, not a certification.

  • Evaluator: Ond
  • Published by: Ond, on this page

The claim

Every badge links to a claim that names seven things.

Specification
The exact revision, for example Action Effect Spec 0.2 draft, with its commit.
Profiles
Every profile claimed. Optional profiles are reported separately from required ones.
Suite
The Action Effect Bench version and the hash of the cases that ran.
Implementation
Name, version and commit or package digest of what was tested.
Results
Passed, failed and unsupported cases, with any limited coverage labelled as limited.
Evaluator
The implementer for Tested, or Ond for Verified.
Report
The date and the raw Bench report, published where anyone can read it.

What a badge does not mean

A precise test statement, nothing broader.

  • It is not a certification, a security guarantee or proof of regulatory compliance.
  • It does not mean Ond endorses, operates or vouches for the product.
  • While the specification is a draft, every claim is a draft claim. It cannot claim conformance with a future stable release.
  • It covers only the cases, profiles and versions the claim names.
  • Ond does not verify OSuite. Ond’s own products can be listed as Tested; Verified for them would need an evaluator other than Ond.

Add the badge

Link it to your claim.

Use the badge that matches your tier, and point it at the claim, not at this page. Dark versions are for dark backgrounds.
